We stopped out little boat and anchored. I looked in the water from the side of the boat … and could see absolutely nothing . I wondered if this was incredibly deep dive. We dropped in and I straight started to descent to see if I can see anything if I drop down . And thankfully I could . As soon as I was under at about 3m I could see a reef filled with lots of creatures.
We started to head out and to the deep and passed reef annd sand and then at 28 m there is was . Beautiful Mitsubishi Zero A6M . It was covered with coral in a thin layer. In Captains cockpit there was a eel hiding and on a tail growing few soft corals. Around wreck blue spotted stingrays were hiding. I could see sharp stinger from stingrays tails pointing a little bit out so I could snap up on them and try get a perfect shot.
In World War 2 from 1942-1945 “The Beehives “ was in the centre of the harbour and of course all Japanese warships would pass it on the way in and out. Seems these rocks have seen so much.

ThorAmboinensis also knows as Sexy Shrimp can be quite easily found in Papua New Guinea while Scuba Diving . While macro diving over reefs. Sexy Shrimp gets its name from the way it moves abdomen , by swaying from side to side.
Males are normally smaller with a single stripe across the abdomen while females are normally large and usually with multiple stripes
Sexy Shrimp can be found by closely looking at Anemone tentacles . Normally Sexy Shrimps hide just between them .
These little guys are able to grow to a about 1- 1,5 cm . Maybe larger , but i have never seen any bigger ones .
I found these tiny ones while diving between Duke Of York islands !
It was nearly midday and after our coffee with surface interval we were ready for the next dive . It was first time for me and other in our 3 person buddy team to dive this site ! We had no idea what to expect . I heard about the place , but have never seen any photos . Not even the ones from the ship while it was still afloat.
We started our descend. Anchor line seemed slack and I was sure that side should be only about 20 m deep , but after dropping to 15 and still no sight of anything except anchor line I realised I was very much wrong.
This is gonna be an adrenaline filled dive...
