search for good , small group Ayahuasca retreat near cusco , Peru. finding willkamayu spirit might be your answer.
After a while of reading about Ayahuasca I decided to take the plunge.
Step 1: Narrow Down the regions. I had about a month time in Peru. So I looked around 2 main regions . 1 being Jungle that most travellers were recommending . And other being Andes near Machu Pichu area.
Jungle region seem to have a lot of Ayahausca retreats as well as main town Iquitos filled with a lot of people selling shamanic items as well as trying to to draw tourists in Ayahuasca ceremonies that might not be as reputable as properly established retreats in deeper jungle. Over all vibe I got was not right for me . But I did not exclude location yet from options until later.
Other option were in Andes. Where from online I felt maybe experience will not be authentic , as its not in the jungle. Also weather being a lot cooler was thing to consider. But after a lots of research turns out that experience was as authentic as it can get. And cold.. What cold ?! Nothing to complain about. Blanket solves this problem .
Small groups – Maximum 6 people per group
After look at locations I looked at retreats and many seemed to be very pricey , but the same time well organised, but massive downside was big groups. Most places I seen were offering groups with 10 -25 people . To me any number higher than 10 seemed a lot of people , especially if everyone is experiencing brew for the first time. I mean , who knows how i`m gonna react ..
as authentic as it can get

Return of PNG citizens/residents
I have issued a number of orders and directions on the repatriation of PNG citizens abroad. We are committed to bringing home our people who have been stranded abroad and have been doing everything humanly possible to achieve that. I issued orders yesterday to the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade as well as Air Niugini regarding the return of any PNG citizen or permanent resident who is being funded to return to PNG by the Government of PNG.
For these persons returning to PNG, the necessary accommodation arrangements for their 14 day quarantine will be organised by the DFAIT. DFAIT are to coordinate effectively with the Immigration and Citizenship Authority and adhere to paragraph 5 of the Emergency Direction-Arrivals Process regarding hotel quarantine. The orders are also specific to Air Niugini in that the national airline is expected to assist PNG citizens or residents returning to PNG who have been authorised by the Controller, regardless of whether they have a hotel booking or not.
Second hand stores seem to be surrounding PNG . Each and every province is filled with shops on every corner with regular fresh deliveries filled with hundreds of fresh items for sale . Items like books, clothing, shoes, bags and a lot more.
Tour started in early morning . I had a cup of coffee and guide passed by and said that he is ready to go !20 minutes drive down the main road and I arrive at last at village . Local lady walked around with me and showed me around . We passed different houses many from local materials . Some people seem to chill under the trees and crew betel nut or simply watch us pass by . Place seemed confusing to me , but local lady made a little sense for me by explaining.
2 hours in in the middle of the jungle I was truly regretting my choice to walk up this Garbuna Volcano trek . I know, I know everyone says its easy and all , but I did not think that .Also being stuck with 1 guide and group of other people did not help. Simply.. I had no choice !
So let me back up…
I did not even notice it until my buddy pointed out amazing mantis Shrimp wondering out of his home . I moved closer while breathing from my SCUBA and starting to snap away.

Build for Nitiro Gyogyo and registered in Tokyo, she was launched from Yokohama Dock yard in 1923. She sank on 2 November 1943 during one of the most publicised raids over Rabaul. Captain Charles W. Howe claims responsibility for sinking the Manko Maru. His report stated, “As we dropped into Sampson harbour … I broke away to avoid a collision with another plane…and at a speed of 23- mph, I started a run on a freighter of approximately 1,500-tons. At a range of 800 yards I opened fire. I continued firing until forced to pull up clear of the vessel. A ne thousand pound bomb dropped early skipped into the side of the bat the other banging off the ship`s deck. My gunner reported later that the ship sunk immediately.
We stopped out little boat and anchored. I looked in the water from the side of the boat … and could see absolutely nothing . I wondered if this was incredibly deep dive. We dropped in and I straight started to descent to see if I can see anything if I drop down . And thankfully I could . As soon as I was under at about 3m I could see a reef filled with lots of creatures.
We started to head out and to the deep and passed reef annd sand and then at 28 m there is was . Beautiful Mitsubishi Zero A6M . It was covered with coral in a thin layer. In Captains cockpit there was a eel hiding and on a tail growing few soft corals. Around wreck blue spotted stingrays were hiding. I could see sharp stinger from stingrays tails pointing a little bit out so I could snap up on them and try get a perfect shot.
In World War 2 from 1942-1945 “The Beehives “ was in the centre of the harbour and of course all Japanese warships would pass it on the way in and out. Seems these rocks have seen so much.

I found these tiny ones while diving between Duke Of York islands !
It was nearly midday and after our coffee with surface interval we were ready for the next dive . It was first time for me and other in our 3 person buddy team to dive this site ! We had no idea what to expect . I heard about the place , but have never seen any photos . Not even the ones from the ship while it was still afloat.
We started our descend. Anchor line seemed slack and I was sure that side should be only about 20 m deep , but after dropping to 15 and still no sight of anything except anchor line I realised I was very much wrong.
This is gonna be an adrenaline filled dive...
